Entrepreneurship
18
There are countless bene昀椀ts of developing
an entrepreneurial mindset where the focus is
on how to improve people’s lives, society and
the local and global community. It enables
learners to become creative innovators,
to meet and overcome challenges as well
as developing the business skills of money
management, marketing and logistics and
critical human skills.
Our learners participate in entrepreneurial
projects that spark individual interest, passion
and motivation as they would in the real world
to demonstrate anything in life is possible.
The project-based approach is provided
through a variety of specialised digital
platforms supported by live interaction with
our mentors. Visits are also arranged from
local entrepreneurs and business experts (for
those living in the UK).
Typical examples of projects may include,
launching and operating an online fashion
store, an organic vegetable store, a
subscription based publication or an artisan
bakery.
Q. Why should my child be learning about
making money at this age?
The desired outcome is not about making
money, but rather for our learners to think
‘outside the box’ and that, with the right skills
and sense of social empathy, they can make
a positive impact on the world around them.
