How we work
Our learners enjoy a level of 昀氀exibility that suits
their individual needs and circumstances.
This is achieved through Google Classrooms
where each learner has their own pro昀椀le page and
dashboard from which they access their learning
schedule, speak to their mentor and friends either
via video meet, email or chat and post items of
interest either to individuals or to their learning
community. This is accessed via a secure login.
This can be accessed at anytime of the day with
links to their personalised learning plan using the
Century platform, recorded lessons and videos.
In addition, learners must a琀琀end Project Based
Learning one a昀琀ernoon a week. They can also
join live a昀琀ernoon entrepreneurship sessions if
they reside in the GMT/BST time zone.
It is required for all learners to participate in a
physical sport at a local facility whilst a琀琀ending
the school as evidenced in writing.
There is a maximum of 12 learners aged 7 to
11 years to one qualified QTS/PGCE mentor in
each learning community.
The progress of each learner is continuously
monitored and assessed via the digital learning
platform which is accessible by parents/
guardians via a secure login. There are also
weekly conferencing meetings with learners and
parent/guardians via video to discuss progress
and next steps. Meetings are also available with
the Community Leader and the Management
Team in Cambridge.
